What it costs to buy
When a property changes hands, the one-time Land Office fees on a sale are: • Transfer fee — 2% of the appraised value (usually split 50/50 with the seller). • Specific Business Tax 3.3% (if the seller owned under 5 years) or 0.5% stamp duty — the seller pays. • Withholding tax — the seller pays.
