The Amazing Thailand Pattaya Marathon runs over the weekend of 26–27 September 2026, with the start and finish at Terminal 21 Pattaya and the course tracing Beach Road along the bay. Distances go from a fun run through 10 km and the half, up to the full 42 km. Registration closes on 15 September, eleven days before the race — earlier than most people expect, so it is worth booking now if you plan to run.
What it means if you live here
Race mornings mean rolling road closures along Beach Road and parts of Second Road from the small hours until mid-morning. If you live in a beachfront building, plan any Sunday drive around it, or simply walk down and watch — the seafront in the early light with a few thousand runners on it is one of the nicer versions of this city.
For owners who let their units: a race weekend fills central hotels, and September is otherwise a quiet month. If your unit is between tenants, this is a weekend worth having it clean and photographed.
